A super fun project writing articles and a Q&A with Karen Walker for PieceHouse Post, a promo newspaper celebrating the launch of the PieceHouse x Karen Walker puzzle collab. The project was a huge success, with the puzzles selling out pre-Christmas.

Working alongside a copywriting agency, I've written numerous guides for the MYOB online resources hub. These adhere to strict SEO and style guidelines and aim to translate accounting principles and practices into plain English.

Populating social content for Accor New Zealand across various pillars every month. Content acts as drivers for Accor properties or destinations. Includes seeking out the perfect accompanying image and getting swept up in holiday adventure envy at the same time!

Three approximately 3,500 word downloadable eBooks in collaboration with a senior copywriter. A variety of copy requirements, including references to legal texts, infographics and lead generation to Professionals core services.
Everyone in my family is addicted to real estate, so I really enjoyed this project.

A complete copy overhaul for Lakeside Rentals to accompany their beautiful new website (all while swooning over stunning Taupō properties). Supporting documents (property owner agreements and company prospectus) were also refreshed.

About me
Writing stories and making magazines and radio stations as a kid was always my jam. After being "too shy" to land a place in communication studies at university, I 'snuck in around the back' via a Bachelor of Business in marketing and advertising (which, in hindsight, turned out to be a good move!)
After spending nearly a decade hustling in media sales across magazines, digital and telly, I found my passion in content writing. My years of crafting sales proposals, partnered with a solid understanding of how to sell the sizzle and knowledge of the wider media landscape, have proven to be a winner.
I made the move to freelancing in 2019 and haven't looked back (even though my boss can sometimes be a bit stingy on the annual leave front).
I enjoy a chat, a good pun, and cinnamon brioche - get in touch if any of those things appeal.
